Spring and Autumn Retreats

Our Spring and Autumn retreats are held at the Cardy Net House, a beautiful grand design, on the shores of Largo in Fife, only an hour’s drive from Edinburgh. This private, contemporary house is situated on the beach front with stunning views out over the sea and is the perfect setting for deepening into the work.

Our week long retreats combine all aspects of the Gathering Essence work including seated meditation, standing and sitting forms. We are in silence for several days to enhance and enrich the meditative dynamic of the group, allow more space for you to connect in and be present with what’s arising. 

The retreats are an incredibly valuable process which give folk the space and supportive environment in which to clear unprocessed energies and emotions, sharpen your meditative skill base and consolidate a clearer understanding of the work. There is ample time between teaching sessions to rest, relax, and slow down.  

We’re very fortunate to have used this stunning venue for many years and our students have appreciated many of the Cardy Net House’s special features during this time; the large secluded garden, the open log fire and comfortable sofas, the wooden veranda from which to watch the sun rise and the long sweeping beach right on our doorstep.
